I'm an actual lawyer irl, and I can tell you that there's not a single jury in the country that would convict this guy
It's kinda a joke actually, where me and my buddy lawyers refer to any clearly innocent defendant as "a real John Kramer"
It's not that Jigsaw didn't even commit a crime; as far as I'm aware he didn't do anything that could be considered morally dubious
He simply happened to have a (perfectly legal) collection of innocuous tools and machinery on his property that ended up being used by several nefarious individuals to injure / murder each other, when they could have left at any time
