>>8619Simple. I love JRPGs. Normally I hate western "J"RPGs, but this one doesn't try too hard to be Japanese as most of them do (the only expection I can recall now is Anachronox), and it doesn't seem to be filled with irony most western games nowadays.
I love turn-based combat, but I also love action games, so the idea of dodging, parrying etc. sounds good to me.
The story, characters and so on sound good, but we'll see just how good soon.
And unlike any real modern JRPGs (that is, the Japanese ones), it has an overworld, which theretically, when you think about it, doesn't really change much, but it is one of things that gave old school JRPGs their charm.
Pretty much every time they announce that the game has this or doesn't have that, it's exactly the way I would want my perfect "J"RPG to be.
The only problem is, perfect ingredients don't necessarily mix into a perfect product. But I try to not be a doomer, so it's now the very first game I've ever preordered. It's relatively cheap, so I'm 99% positive I won't regret it, even if turns out to be "only" a solid 8/10 game.
>don't like the voices tho, hat those accentsI play pretty much only Japanese games with JP voices and western indies that usually don't have voices at all, so I may have low standards for English actors, but I don't hear anything wrong about E33's voices. But it's a French game, so you can check the French trailers. Playing the game with from dub may make sense.
